Feeling accomplished.
So these past couple weeks I have been working harder than ever. I finally finished my Scholarship project for FIDM. I did it within a weeks worth of time when I could've worked on it for months. I think I did alright, but I'm still left with that feeling that I could've done so much better. I'm very relieved that it's over with and I can't wait to hear back from them. Other than that I have accomplished a lot of class projects. My design class project finally got finished the day before the Earth Day event. I think it turned out great. We made a huge collage of the world and it was separated in layers. To see the world as a whole you would have to look into a certain spot.
One side was the healthy world (the collage I made) and the other was the unhealthy world. Now that, that project is done I have only one more final assignment for that class.. a ten minute presentation. It sounded scary at first, but since I'll be doing it over the project I did for FIDM, it should be pretty easy. I'm still pretty weird when it comes to presenting though. That's something I definitely need to work on. In photography I need to put together a portfolio of all of the work we did through the semester. I've been working on that throughout the week and I generated another collage.
I absolutely enjoy making these. I'm working on a series of collages that represent heartbreak and healing. I posted a couple of them in a previous entry. I've just been feeling extra creative lately. I'm really proud to say that I'm finally done with math this semester. I passed my final with an A. So now I have plenty of time to be creative, haha. Math is my enemy. Two other classes that seem to draw me away from my creativity are sociology and biology. I'm sure there are ways to be creative with the work assigned in these classes, but I never get assigned any projects. So basically the only way I get 'creative' in these classes is by drawing on the sides of my notebook. Just two more weeks and I'll be free. May will be a busy month for me, but I'm really looking forward to it. It'll consist of wedding photo shoots and Florida. I could definitely use some Florida warmth.
