Weekly wars & victories: #2

001. Last Saturday night I modeled in a local fashion show in Omaha. I mentioned this in my last WW&V post. I'm very proud of myself. It was my first time walking the runway and I didn't fall once. The gown I wore was a little tricky, but it was gorgeous. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to share from it yet, but once I do, I will update this entry. The dress was made like a toga. My left leg was meant to show and let me tell you, I felt like Angelina Jolie.

002. This week my addiction to online shopping has probably hit it's peak. Thanks to Pinterest, I have discovered a little thing called Wholesale clothing. Both Bluelans and eFoxcity are great websites to go to for inexpensive online shopping. It's almost too good to be true. I have bought quite a few things from them this week. I figure that I wont receive anything for a couple weeks because they're shipped through air mail. Patience is key here!

003. I watched Spirited Away the other night. I had forgotten how much I loved that movie. I'm not really into anime, but I use to watch this movie all the time when I was younger. There was something about it that always scared me. Looking back on it now, I can understand why. The animation is just amazing and the story line is very attention grabbing. I felt like a kid again watching it.

004. I worked my butt off this week waitressing. I feel like I'm definitely getting the hang of things now that I've been working there for about two months. Every night I come home, I reek of food. I still dread it, but at the end of the day, I'm thankful to have a job. I've been making well over $200 a week, only working four days. So honestly, it's worth all of the hell.

005. I went out last night with my good friend, Valeska. I have come to realize that she is definitely my sister from another mister. It was House of Loom's "Booty Clap" night. Normally, I don't go due to the intense twerking... but we booty clapped and we conquered the dance floor.

Looks like I've been pretty victorious this week. If you've also conquered your weekly wars, let's celebrate! If you feel defeated, well just brush off your shoulders and say hello to another week.

    1. Thank you so much! It's something that I'm trying to keep up on at least. I'm not always consistent with my blog posts, but I'm trying harder.
