Weekly wars & victories #8

001. These past couple of weeks have gone by insanely fast and I'm thankful for that. The magazine is printed, fashion week has ended, and I'm on to new things! I've taken time to myself these past couple of days to just let my brain rest. My mind had been so busy last month that it was hard for me to think of anything but indesign related tasks and fashion week. I'm happy to say that through all of that hard work, I had created something pretty fantastic with the help of my coworkers. Hearing the positive feedback from our audience at fashion week, from friends, and family has been rewarding. I started this year off with a bang... and a fizzle.

002. Now that I've freed up so more time, I'm going to focus a lot more on this blog. I realized some things whilst being the creation process for the Omaha Fashion Mag... things that I really would love to see myself achieving within the next few years. First off, I'm going to be more consistent with this blog. I feel like I've been doing a pretty good job so far, but I need to be more dedicated. I have more fun and creative projects underway. I'm excited to share them with you all. I'm also getting more serious about Trend Forecasting. I want to dig deep into why people wear what they do. It's so interesting to me and I want to share Omaha's style with you. I feel like we don't have as many gutsy fashionista's here, but whenever I see someone go above and beyond... it warms my little heart!

003. My birthday is coming up shortly. My 21st, on St Patricks day. Am I going to survive this? I'm looking forward to that day very much.

Have a great weekend everyone.
