Save it for a rainy day
It's hard for me to grasp the whole concept of "saving" at times. When payday arrives, the first thing that pops into my head are those unforgettable shoes I passed by the other day or just endless plots to blow a ginormous hole into my wallet. It's a daily battle, but I've become more disciplined and smart about the things I buy on a daily basis. It seems like I have a never ending wishlist, but if I had to choose, all that is below would come first.
1. Canon EOS Rebel T3i: Since the passing of my last Canon camera, I've been dying for another. It's hard to believe how long I've gone without it, because it is something I once considered "my baby". This camera shoots video, which is something I couldn't do with my previous one. There is a possibility of me starting a Youtube channel in the future. I'd really love to see where I could go with it. Other than that, I'd just really love to get a working camera in my hands again so I can continue to fill up this blog of mine.
2. Warby Parker Ripley Glasses: The other night I couldn't help but notice how worn my current specs are. I don't wear them too often, mainly because it would be dangerous. Needless to say, I need an upgrade. I was kind of weary about ordering glasses online, but I discovered that Warby Parker will send you up to five pairs of glasses to try on for free. They're all on their way now and I'm very excited to try them out. I have a feeling the Ripley will be my favorite, but we'll see. Perhaps I'll do a separate post on this!
3. A plane ticket: TO ANYWHERE.
Alright, that sums it all up. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend xx

ReplyDeleteOh man, I totally know how you feel. I'm not very good at saving either. I just want so many things and I'm too impatient to not buy them! But you made a great list of things to save up for. That camera is gorgeous and you can never go wrong with traveling! You're paying for memories, which is the best : )

I have the canon 60D and I'm hoping to be a rebel in the new year as that is better for video than mine, but they are such good cameras!
