Romantic Lip: A MAC Lipstick Haul

My lipstick game has been pretty strong lately, thanks to MAC Cosmetics. I recently started using MAC lip products and I'm impressed. Here are a few of my recently purchased favorites in all different "romantic" shades. Also, please excuse my untamed brows. Sometimes they do weird things.



Russian Red: This color will flatter any skin type! I've heard so many great things, so I had to try it myself. This is actually the very first MAC lipstick I'd ever owned and the first impression had me grinning from ear to ear. I carry this color with me everywhere as it is appropriate anytime of the day (if you're into that kind of thing).


Please Me: "Please Me" is a pinky nude shade that is perfect for everyday wear. It has a matte finish so it can be a bit drying, but a little chapstick before applying never hurts. Whenever I get heavy on the eyeliner, I go for this color to quiet down the lip area. Sometimes I feel it's best to play with one feature than to go completely overboard.


Crosswires: I heard about this shade from Essiebutton on Youtube and I fell in love. It's one of MAC's cremesheen finishes and it leaves your lips feeling soft and moisturized. I wear this shade regardless of the seasons, but this shade makes me feel like Spring is just around the corner. The coral/pink color gives off a very retro vibe. In other words, I consider this a very Joan Holloway lip color - my love for Mad Men is endless.


All Fired Up: I saved the best for last. The pigment of this lipstick is undeniably beautiful and timeless. It has a matte finish and is part of MAC's Retro Matte collection. I recommend this lipstick to anyone who admires a bold lip!
