Outlandish: Ish Magazine

I'm grateful to be surrounded by talented artists/friends everyday. Last weekend brought me a lot of joy, opportunity, and experience. My dear friend, Camille Renee, and I have been working on a project for a while now and it's amazing seeing it all come to life. This project is only the beginnings of a magazine, Ish Magazine. Ish is simply the way we express ourselves and describe the things around us, whether it's really inspiring art, music, fashion, or architecture. The main focus will be on talent around the midwest, including designers, stylists, boutiques, etc. Last weekend's photo shoot revolved around a young local designer from Omaha, miss Kate Walz. Her designs always give me the chills when I see them on the runway during Omaha Fashion Week. Designs from previous seasons were photographed and were styled in delicate vintage accessories from AOkayVintage and Atomic Garage. The theme was Alice in Wonderland and Kate fit perfectly as Alice. The mod sunnies gave it a quirky twist that I'm in love with! I wont give away too much, but the photos looked incredible.
